In 2024, Ramsey/Washington Recycling & Energy and Second Chance Recycling are offering free and low-cost mattress recycling services to apartments located in Ramsey and Washington counties. This is a great opportunity to try out recycling while saving money on mattress disposal.

Effective July 1, 2024, interested participants can opt for low-cost recycling services. Mattresses and box springs can be recycled for $10 each, with an additional $10 pickup fee per item.
Multi-unit property managers in Saint Paul are eligible for free pickup of mattresses, box springs and metal bed frames.
